My name is Beatrice, born 1993 in Cologne Germany, dual citizenship Italian-German, obtained a Bachelor´s degree from the University of Applied Science Cologne in Multilingual Communication (English and French), with work experience as a Junior Consultant in political Public Relations and as a Content Manager in Berlin. In July 2020, I graduated from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in Social and Cultural Anthropology with the degree Master of Science. I am passionate about Pilates and Movement: since 2017 I am a BASI certified Pilates Mat Instructor and in 2020 I successfully finished my training as a Comprehensive Pilates Instructor with Smartbody Studio Amsterdam.
The discipline of anthropology fascinates me and the tolerant and open-minded approach it uses when conducting research and generating knowledge is one that I regard essential for an honest and applicable science. On this website, I am sharing my ideas, ethnographic research projects and other projects with you. I hope that they can be an inspiration and a nice read for those interested in socially relevant topics.
