Nachhaltige Gesellschaft – Sustainable Community

As an anthropologist, I know about the importance of coming together and discussing together and within diverse groups, what Community is, how we experience it and what we wish for it… here you find a Podcast that emerged from one of my talks during the exchange in the „Philosophischer Salon Kloster Lamspringe“. It is in German, enjoy sparkling ideas on the topic of culture, care and community! The Podcast is produced by Emma Bruch, student at the University of Hildesheim, and other smart people with the question of cultural and social participation and democracy. Asking ourselves questions on the theme of community is learning and relearning what community is and what a good community is for each and all of us. My doctoral thesis with the title „Who cares? Notions of Care, Fading Idealism and Growing Diversity in Germany“ speaks about exactly these themes and questions. So, let’s keep talking!

Uns mit Fragen der Gemeinschaft auseinanderzusetzen heißt zu Lernen und neu zu Erlernen, was eine gute Gemeinschaft und Gesellschaft ist – für jeden Einzelnen und Alle zusammen.
